Ashaiman man killed

Tension is brewing at Ashaiman as a homeless man who came out to seek his daily bread was allegedly gunned down by the COVID-19 Safe security taskforce.

According to information gathered by ajnewsonline.com , the deceased was asked by military guards who were implementing the two weeks LOCKDOWN to go back home. He told them he had no home and for that reason relented to go.

A brief brawl led to a struggle which made a soldier allegedly pulled the trigger on him sending him to his early grave.

According to other sources, Mr. Ofotsu came out from his hiding to seek his daily bread as that has been his regular activity carried out to feed himself his death.

As a result of the struggle, a passerby was hit in the eye by the stock of the gun  leading to a serious injury.

The situation which is heightening tension in the district capital of Ashaiman is feared to disrupt the implementation of the LOCKDOWN in the Ashaiman municipality as sympatizers of the deceased are mounting up pressure on the security to reveal why they killed him.
