Nana Aba Anamoah reveals how Shatta and Stonebwoy made peace

Dancehall superstars, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have finally made peace after a long-standing rivalry which saw them face off at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Shatta Wale announced the peace smoking of the peace pipe on Thursday by posting a photo of himself with Stonebwoy.

Captioning the photo, Shatta Wale called Stonebwoy his brother, while writing that there is strength in unity which opens many doors, adding that peace is freedom.

“‪Unity is strength .‪Love is the key to many doors. ‪Brotherhood is Loyalty. ‪Peace is Freedom ..‬‪My brother and I got a great vision for Ghana music and we taking it to the world ❤️.. @stonebwoyb,” Shatta wrote.

Moments later, Stonebwoy has also shared the same photo with a caption which subtly explains why he had to forgive Shatta Wale and live in peace with.

Stonebwoy wrote: “‘IF it be Possible As Far It Depends On You, Live Peaceably With All Men. (Romans 12:18).’ ‘The Wise Shall Inherit Glory…But Shame Shall Be The Promotion Of Fools. (Proverbs 3:35)’ #GhanaFirst #PeaceAndUnity#LetLoveLead #MaturityAndForgiveness #BrotherHood #1GAD.”

While the peace between the two has been hailed by Ghanaians, especially those on social media, not much was known about how it happened.

Ace broadcaster, Nana Aba Anamoah who seems to have played a key role in brokering the peace has revealed that one Dr Kofi Abban was the main peacemaker.

According to Nana Aba, she has been silent on the face off between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards because she had been working behind the scenes to get the two to make peace.

Sharing photos from the unity talks, Nana Aba wrote:

“For those who questioned my silence on @stonebwoyb & @shattawalegh incident; they’re both special.Getting them to smoke the peace pipe was important.

“A big thanks to Dr. Kofi Abban for his immense support & vision for these two. Dr. Abban a.k.a Asomdwee hene, God bless you. You’re one in a million. Shatta and Stone are eternally grateful for your kind words and wise counsel.

“To Bullet, Bulldog and Black Cedi, you’re gems. God bless you. Long may Shatta and Stone RISE!

The GHOne TV presenter later shared another photo and specially praised Bullet, Bulldog, and Black Cedi. “Bullet, Bulldog and Blackcedi…you three gentlemen are amazing. Your humility to forge ahead and make the industry better than it is, is breathtakingly beautiful,” she wrote.

Nana Aba, thank you for the good work and God continually bless you. You are always an inspiration.
