The Opposition National Democratic Congress has re-opened nomination for the selection of new parliamentary hopefuls in the Ashaiman Constituency.

At an executive meeting held in Ashaiman with the family, the National executives have decided to open nomination for any interested candidate to file for nomination.

The decision was carried out following the untimely demise of one of the two candidates, Emmanuel Maxvoy who filed to be selected as parliamentary candidate for the Ashaiman Constituency.

Nomination opens in Ashaiman Constituency today, 16th August, 2019 and the nomination closes on  17th August, 2019 at 5pm.

Filing of nomination will be on Monday, 19th August, 2019 and close at 5pm same day.

Vetting and balloting for those who picked the nomination follows same day, 19th August, 2019 at 6pm.

The date for the election still holds as scheduled on the 24th August 2019 at all constituencies across the nation.
